Kaju Kathali & Apple
1 cup Kaju
½ cup sugar
¼ cup water
½ tsp cardamom powder
2-3 tsp ghee
½ cup sugar

2-3 tsp ghee
To make kaju powder add kaju into food processor try and avoid using mixer for it to get a free flowing texture. Prefer kaju of room temperature. In pan add suger and water once it start boiling keep steering and make it to one tread consistency syrup. Add kaju powder to this syrup and mix well…cook it for 1-2 min and it will turn into sticky dough. Take it off the heat & transfer it in a plat. Wait for 3-5 min. once you can handle it start kneading as dough (use the ghee as needed) at this stage it should be warm enough. Put this dough in between of two greased plastic sheet and roll it with pin into desired thickness. If you want to add the silver leaf or varak this is the time..
For Apple, make the dough with the same steps & make the small ladoos of it. Give it a little narrow shape on bottom to make it look more real. Use a red & green food color. Apply red color with brush in vertical patter to apple & then add green color on top, top it with clove and you apples are ready.
