Sabudana Vada

Dilwala Sabudana Vada...
I have been craving for it since long, avoiding it for obvious reasons of having fried food. Yes I don’t want to make any compromises when it comes to sabudana wada either I have it authentic frying way or just avoid it.

Presenting Dilwala Sabudana Vada, with very unique blend of sabudana chutney (mom’s recipe)
2 cups sabudana (socked in warm water at least for 5-6 hrs; make sure not to add excess water)
½ cup roasted peanuts powder (not to fine)
2 medium size boiled potato
½ tbsp cumin seed
½ cup chopped cilantro
1 tbsp finally chopped ginger
Paste of 5-6 green chilies
Salt to test
Oil to fry

In soaked sabudana add peanut powder + mashed boil potato + cumin seed + cilantro + ginger + green chilly paste + salt & make dough. Once dough is ready make a desire shape & deep fry.

I used cookie cutter to make heart shape. Place cookie cutter on greased plastic sheet or Ziploc bag, put dough in it & start shaping. Deep fry it & serve hot with chutney.

Take mixture of 1 wada + roasted peanuts + salt + yogurt + cilantro + sugar to test + green chilly ….. blend it in mixi …..u r done ….taa dhaa!
